:eight:

Today Kelsi turned 8..

I really can't believe how the years have just flown by!

Friday night she had a little party and requested 'ghost cakes' which I made.

Off to school she went this morning with her Oreo Pops to share with her class mates.

And to finish the day off, a little party with just us and Nanna.

Happy Birthday our gorgeous girl.
Your sense of humour makes us laugh each and every day.
We are glad you are ours xx

9th party part 3

:nine:
{part 3}

Today Eryn turned 9.

 First off there were presents......

Then she spent the morning with 5 of her special little friends at Robert Gordon Pottery.

They painted.......

Then drank hot chocolates.......

Then sang happy birthday and ate cake......

This was one of the easiest but by far the most colourful birthday cakes I have made.
 (Recipe found here )

Then it was over in a blink of an eye and it was time to say thank you to everyone with a party bag

Eryn was sad that it was over and wanted the party to last all day long!
Happy Birthday gorgeous girl of 9 xx

9th party part 2 chocolate spoons

:party:
{part 2}

Another treat for the party bags..

Chocolate spoons.

wrapped and ready to be placed into party bags.

I used 1 family block of cadbury milk chocolate and it made approx 14 spoons.
These are very easy to make and would make a great treat for Easter.
Just substitute the smarties for a little Easter egg (just wait for the chocolate to cool a little or else the Easter egg will melt)

The hook and yarn are out again.

Simple crochet flowers on headbands that are being placed into party bags for some special little girls who are helping Eryn celebrate her 9th birthday on Saturday.

Eryn likes the grey flower
