night at the drive in

 Wow what a night.  Inbetween the lightning, thunder and rain it was a fantastic night.  Alvin and the Chipmunks was a great movie.  It was the first time that the girls had been to the drive in  so it was excitement plus in the car. 

We arrived at about 8.15pm (an hour before the movie started) so there was a fair bit of just sitting around waiting with lots of  " is it starting yet?"  "NO NO NO not yet" was the reply each time!

We put the girls in the front seat (for their optimum viewing pleasure) and we were ...........yep in  the back.

and while we were waiting why not takes some snaps!!

Our sweet girl Kelsi who has a mind like no one else thought that the drive in was a great thing because it was outside and that meant that the birds (yes the feather type) could watch movies!!!!

She does have a point.
