simple sewing

:simple sewing:
{part 2}

Another simple sewing project.

No pattern required.

No procrastinating.
Just making.

Actually achieving something.

Turning off the computer so as I am not overwhelmed by all the information out there.

Now dont' get me wrong,  I LOVE the Internet with such places as blogspot and pinterest but.....
I do find I get very distracted and procrastinate for far too long (hours) instead of just turning off the computer and going with my instinct and not thinking that my project could be done bigger and better.
Anyone else out there have the same problem??????
Lots more happening over here

  1. Yep. I have the same problem. That's why I have several projects on the go - and never get them finished!

Cute top - I love that the fabric is textured.
Hope you have a fab weekend! :)

  3. Yep. It is good to turn the computer off from time to time.

Absolutely loving that top. Gorgeous style and darling fabric. And your model has the most amazingly sweet smile... me thinks she loves the top too!

  7. Yes, I have the same problem, and only last week almost finished my blog as felt the computer was sapping all my creating time. It is OK to leave the computer off and turn on the sewing machine - that was my epiphany last week, and I feel like a new person for it!
Gorgeous top, the fabric is beautiful and suits your daughter so well. It has been way too long since I made a shirred dress for my little girls, I'll add that to the long list of sewing projects....

  9. You did a beautiful job with the top Tanya, it's a great feeling being creative. It is so easy to get distracted by the computer and to just walk away can be difficult, I feel exactly the same.

  11. What a beautiful top and made without a pattern. Very clever! I spend hours on the Internet being inspired by others, which is how I found your post.
